Josh P is a 20-year-old rapper and singer-songwriter from Sacramento, California. He grew up behind a drum kit in his local church, where he first learned how music could carry weight, meaning, and presence. In late 2023, Josh stepped into the Christian Hip-Hop scene with a voice that felt both new and grounded. His sound blends rap, R&B, and worship, pulling from artists like Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, and Israel Houghton. His debut EP, “Young & Restless”, arrived at the end of 2024. It’s a portrait of a young man learning to follow God in a loud and fast-moving world. Josh doesn’t claim to have all the answers. But he’s clear about why he’s here: to use the gift he’s been given to point people back to Jesus.
