Josh P is a 20-year-old rapper and singer-songwriter from Sacramento, California. He grew up behind a drum kit in his local church, where he first learned how music could carry weight, meaning, and presence. That early foundation shaped the way he approaches every song—with intention, honesty, and a deep sense of purpose.

In late 2023, Josh stepped into the Christian Hip-Hop scene with a voice that felt both new and grounded. His sound blends rap, R&B, and worship, pulling from artists like Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, and Israel Houghton. He doesn’t chase trends. He writes what he lives—songs about faith, doubt, identity, and hope.

Josh stands at the intersection of two worlds—secular and Christian Hip-Hop—and builds bridges between them. His music speaks to people inside and outside the church, without watering down truth or experience. He creates space for real conversations about God in the language of everyday life.

His debut EP, Young & Restless, arrived at the end of 2024. It’s a portrait of a young man learning to follow God in a loud and fast-moving world. Josh doesn’t claim to have all the answers. But he’s clear about why he’s here: to use the gift he’s been given to point people back to Jesus.
